Technology

The stack behind every 3AE camera.

Four engineering pillars run end-to-end through the product line — analytics on the edge, image quality you can tune, ANPR built for highway speed, and a security posture your IT team can actually audit.

Pillar 01 — AI on the edge

Seven analytics, on every SKU.

The same AI feature set runs in-camera across the entire 3AE Pro line — no separate AI box, no per-channel license, no spec sheets that quietly drop features on the cheaper SKUs. The recorder sees structured events, not raw motion noise.

DL People Tracker
Person-class detection with persistent tracking IDs across the frame
DL Object Tracker
Vehicle, bag, and object detection — separate confidence stream
Intrusion / Tampering
Zone violation + camera-moved/covered alarms
Counting / Direction
Tripwire counts with directional filter; queue analytics
Tailgating
Vestibule + access-control double-entry detection
AI analytics — detection boxes, counting lines, and metadata callouts on a camera feed
Pillar 02 — Image quality

Engineered around Sony Starvis 2.

Every 3AE Pro camera ships with a Sony Starvis 2 sensor and a tuned ISP that survives the scenes most cameras fail at — backlit doorways, sodium-lit car parks, pre-dawn loading bays. Full-color night vision down to 0.03 lux on the day/night SKUs, no IR cut-over flash.

Sensor
Sony Starvis 2 — best-in-class low-light + full-pixel readout
WDR
120 dB+ true wide dynamic range, per-region tone mapping
Noise reduction
3D DNR — temporal + spatial, tunable per scene
Night vision
TDN with full-color at 0.03 lux on TDN-equipped SKUs
Codec
H.265 main / smart streams + H.264 fallback
3AE Pro bullet camera — Sony Starvis 2 sensor housing
Pillar 03 — ANPR engine

Read every plate, at highway speed.

Dedicated ANPR housings with adaptive shutter, IR pulse tuned for retro-reflective plates, and a recognition engine trained against international plate formats. The camera publishes a structured event — plate string, confidence, direction, timestamp — over ONVIF the moment a vehicle crosses.

Capture speed
Up to 100 km/h at highway-grade lane geometry
Optics
Motorised zoom 8–32 mm, dedicated ANPR coating on the glass
IR strategy
Pulse-mode IR — retro-reflective plates stay legible at night
Event format
ONVIF Profile S structured event, no polling required
Plate formats
EU / UK / GCC / SE-Asia / Latin-America trained models
3AE ANPR-capable camera — motorised zoom housing
Pillar 04 — Cybersecurity

Audit-ready the day it ships.

Surveillance gear is now a network-attached device that IT signs off on. Every 3AE camera ships with 802.1x port authentication, HTTPS-only management, signed firmware, and ONVIF Profile S · G · T compliance for clean VMS integration. Nothing rogue, nothing surprise.

Port authentication
802.1x certificate enrolment when the camera joins the network
Management plane
HTTPS on every endpoint — plain HTTP refusable in config
Firmware
Signed updates rolled out through the VMS; rollback supported
Network filters
IP allow-list, port allow-list, role-scoped user accounts
ONVIF profiles
S (streaming) · G (recording) · T (advanced video) — VMS-ready
3AE PoE NVR — signed firmware, 802.1x ports
Compatibility

Drops into the VMS your team already deploys.

We do not ship a proprietary stack. The cameras and recorders speak the protocols your integrators have been wiring for a decade.

Streaming
ONVIF Profile S, RTSP, H.265 / H.264 main + sub-streams
Recording / playback
ONVIF Profile G, edge SD recording, NVR integration via REST
Advanced video
ONVIF Profile T — bidirectional control, smart-event metadata
Tested with
Milestone XProtect · Genetec Security Center · DW Spectrum · Network Optix · BluePlanet
SDK
C++ + Python SDKs for ANPR event ingestion and tracker metadata streams
Certifications
CE · FCC · RoHS · ONVIF conformance · IK10 / IP67 housing where rated
